he does do a better press conference than Wes. I like Wes... he is doing a good job, but I do miss BV and Jimmy Greenbeans.

But the defense is still quite good. I hear folks say that we will lose many starters from this year's D. Next year will tell us a lot about Wes.

No doubt BV's intensity is on another level. I think there is no way that his attention to detail and commitment to excellence didn't have an affect on our players' output. That said, there are other ways to win. Look at what Mike McDaniel is doing with the Dolphins right now. Can you imagine him putting on BV's skeletor-I'm-about-to-strangle-you face? Haha--No way. Hearing the way some of our former players described Wes Goodwin inspires confidence. Supposedly he's an ace when it comes to Xs and Os. I haven't watched a lot of his interviews and obv I'm not at practice everyday, but if he figure out the personal side of working with college age kids in terms of how to motivate and inspire them, he could be a great one for us.

I believe that he will do big things at Oklahoma. I’ll be pulling for him every game unless he plays Clemson.

This is the major difference between this Tiger team and the teams during Venebles stay at Clemson.
His sideline demeanor hasn’t been duplicated and will not be.
