A well respected long term Tnetter, unquestionable loyalty, older and wise. He makes what I consider to be another unpopular but accurate post and he’s being downvoted like crazy? Go give him a TU to counter this nonsense

But I do think he posts some Cootish things from time to time, so it doesn't surprise me that he gets TD'd.
And honestly it doesn't matter since his ratio will keep him well over 100%.

he was a respected and gifted sports' columnist and senior writer for "The Tiger" newspaper the year I joined the staff in 1965.
Bill knew and had an "in" with every athletic official at Clemson, never hesitating to criticize and critique, when necessary.
"The Tiger," although a collegiate paper, was a recipient of an All-American Award, designating it as one of the top 25 collegiate papers nationally...right up there with papers of some of our nation's oldest and most-revered institutions. And the sports' coverage contributed to those rankings. During my year as the Editor-in-Chief, I wished Bill had still been a part of the staff.
There is not one single person on this site who should have the unmitigated gall to T.D. anything Bill posts, and I don't give a dammmmm the subject matter. I value his observations, because I know, critical or not, that's precisely why he was a vitally important part of our sports' staff.
You will not find any person...none, more dedicated and loyal to Clemson for over 50 years than Bill. Period.
