There's no one currently on staff I feel is qualified to take on and improve special teams. Maybe Matt Luke, but don't you dare take him off the recruiting trail or take time away from him building a road grading Oline.

So than who?

Clemson needs a dedicated special teams coordinator. NOT Mike Reed!!!

Id like to see a S&C staff change more than ST tbh. I think Luke figured out the fg blocking.

He's not gonna have time for at least a year or three to devote to special teams. He needs to be able to come in and 100% focus on defense and linebackers i guess since we don't have a linebackers coach.

We had some personnel related blocks on kicks that were

fixed when we Woods back in there. FG and kickoffs were fine. Great on FG actually, minus the blocks. The punting average was low but that was player based and not coaching.

So why all the stress about special teams? I don’t know if Allen has a forte for special teams, but I’m thinking they will be coached by the same group effort they have for years.
