There is a big graduation brunch today. He says this is a group that he is excited about getting started with. This is his 15th class and they've been consistent with graduation and winning. They've been consistent because of recruiting.

15 of the 22 signees are mid-years, and some of them will meet the team at the bowl. They can't play in the game, of course, but they can practice. Champ Thompson has been here this week practicing and has had a few days with Tyler Davis, learning from him. Of the 15, six are on offense and nine are on defense

I believe it, and hope to see TE becoming a much bigger part of the Tiger Offense. Clemson coaches would be advised to watch Andy Reid/Mahomes/Kelce and Shanahan/Purdy/Kittle videos all day everyday.

Betancur is from the same small town where the movie "Groundhog Day" was filmed. Swinney says it was cool to see the town. He said you have to pass a bunch of cornfields to get there

Mayo and Kisayi - both are 6-7. Absolute giants when you see them. Darien is a high-level player with a bright future. Adam is a neat story - shows up at camp for three days. Told Dabo at the rock that he was coming to get a scholarship offer from Clemson and won the coaches over in camp. He has played QB and TE and they moved him to DE late. He can run and bend.

At LB, it came together well. They considered taking a portal guy if Barrett had left, but with Barrett staying they grabbed a HS guy.

Sammy Brown is a mid-year, the other two are not. Brown has been recruited since he was a kid. When he was in sixth grade, he forgot his book bag and they made him take accountability. His mom has a video of Dabo making him do up-downs.

I ask if he feels like they addressed team speed and playmaking ability....he says they do and he feels like they have speed here. Says Cole Turner was fastest on team (with Nate Wiggins). And Antonio played in a few games. Says Randall and Stellato have speed. Says Tyler Brown can fly. He thinks they have that on the roster. Says Hanafin has it. But it needs to show up on game day and that goes to development.
