I watched the Tennessee Spring Game last night

i must have been watching the wrong UT, because i didn't see a WR that would even sniff the starting lineup here. We have grown ### men, playmakers, All Americans, and future Pro Bowlers at CU. I saw some undersized receivers get owned by their DBs, no aggressiveness to the ball, and several dropped passes.
A few positives to their credit- they have a great QB in Dobbs, some decent running backs, and some good DBs. They seem to be deep at a lot of positions and were missing almost their entire starting D Line due to injuries. They just might win the East: I think they will lose to UGA, but still end up with a better conference record since UGA's crossover games are vs Auburn and Bama.

Maybe some guys were out, bc that's not UT at all

I love our WRs, but UT has some really good players at receiver that we recruited and they're not "undersized" by any means. We wanted (5-star) Josh Malone pretty badly and we finished second to UT- he's 6'3" and 204 lbs. We also finished second for (4-star) Marquez North, who's 6'4" and 221 lbs. Pig Howard's a small guy, but he led their team in receiving out of the slot last year.
Clemson's returning guys have better numbers, but we passed more and we passed more effectively. Guys like Malone, North, and Howard would almost certainly play at Clemson.

Howard, Malone, and North would all compete to start at Clemson. I don't know that they'd beat out Williams, Scott, and Peake, but they're close in talent.

North is good. The thing is if he had came to CU there is a good chance one of the guys we have now would not be here.

Yeah, speaks to how great of a coach Scott is. We've had some highly recruited guys but we've gotten production out of Adam Humphries and Bryce McNeal as well. I think UT has put a lot of guys in the NFL on talent alone, not player development.

Bryce McNeal was a 4* kid, didn't play for Scott, and left the program. ......
That's about as far off base as I have seen a point. Sorry.

I forgot he was a 4* but he did play for Scott. Jaron Brown probably would have been a better example.

our busts over on Tennesse.247sports.com Here are some quotes
"I know that CZA is an excellent recruiter, which is evident with snagging Pearson from JUCO and 5 star Preston Williams and Josh Malone. However, I am extremely concerned with his coaching ability. His first year, the WR's seemed like a great load of potential with North making highlight reels and Pig being Pig. I realize last year we had several injuries, but it seems as if we took a step back. In the one-on-ones in the Spring Game, there wasn't one catch. Is anyone as worried as I am about our WR's?"
"Finally someone says something. I mean, our WRs don't even know how to get free in press man coverage.
Who else could be responsible?"

If you watch both promos UT was focused on historical videos and images where Clemson is more about the past 5 years. We are trending to be what UT was 12 years ago. Plus the production quality of our promo is miles better than UT's, which consisted of just clips of old highlights of college plays. No contest.....
