Wish Trump’s handlers would have written him a more stately speech befitting the office. I was hoping that with the rally he had he would have gotten a lot of this out of his system and been able to rein it in for at least this historic speech.

I get that this is who he is, but it’s not a rally, it’s an inaugural address. Maybe I’m just being too curmudgeonly, but it is not the time and place to be talking about how there are only two genders, we are going to rename the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America, and how we are taking back the Panama Canal. Also the usual grievances about being prosecuted. His base cares about that nonsense, but none of those cover what the speech should be about, a vision for a better country.

To go along with that, it's known that Trump tends to agree with whichever idea or argument is pitched to him last (because he's an idiot). To go along with his stupidity, Trump is incredibly lazy and will play a year's worth of his term on the golf course (as he did in his first term) so it's his handlers that will be governing most of the 4 years. And unlike in his first term, he's surrounded himself with more incompetent and un-American people as well as billionaires to move us more to an oligarchy. This is what MAGA stands for now...and America for the next four years.

two tiered system of justice and all that. He was convicted by a jury of his peers very quickly, since the evidence was overwhelmingly obvious.
He was shot by a registered Republican. Although I know it’s the Dems fault somehow because, of course.
Luckily for us though, once rename the Gulf of Mexico and rage about genders, all of our problems will be fixed!
