offensive production

Dec 1, 2017, 6:33 PM

do y'all think we need to sort out the co-offensive coordinator roles? we only average 5.7 yards per play... wake forest averages 6.1 yards per play. Kelly Bryant averages a staggering 3.9 yards per carry when Jalen hurts averages about 5.6 yards per carry. don't mean to put down the offense because we do win the games, but it is shocking to me how the offense isn't as productive as it really should be.

The offense starts with the center snap, just like your previous post. And you're a little low with yours also!

It’s produced a 39-3 record and a National Championship so far in the last 3 years. If you can find someone that has done better (and you can’t) then I’m listening. Give cootville a holler. They seem to have an unlimited capacity for embracing ridiculous nonsense.

Defense had a lot injuries through out the season and a large part of the game plan was to protect the defense by running the ball and picking up 1st downs and running the clock. This offense has been very effective at picking up 1st downs and flipping field position, and it’s also very balanced averaging around 245 yards passing and 215 yards rushing and scoring 35 points per game.

We're getting 45 yards and 4 pgg less than last year, I think we're fine. When KB stretches the field a bit throwing we're unbeatable. Part of the reason our PPG is down is because we run more which burns more clock allowing a little less scoring.
