These same people complained even when the team was 15 - 0 and won a national championship because we only beat A&M by 2, or Syracuse by 4, or the defense allowed the Coots to score first in the rivalry game (the only first quarter TD allowed by the defense all season).

Are they the same ones who get on here every game day and complain about Shipley? He shouldn’t be playing. They should bench him. He isn’t fast enough. He shouldn’t show emotion on the field. Or are they the ones who get on here and make fun of Wes every game day? Give up 14 points in a game and he is horrible. He was a buddy hire. He should be a tee ball coach.

I suppose I fit that definition. I don't like paying for Dabo's enormous salary while he hires his unqualified friends, plays his sons (who probably wouldn't play at Furman), and gives scholarships to those sons and their friends. I have always said Shipley needs to be on the field and is a great athlete, but I definitely complain about some of his antics. He's not as good as Mafah. And showing emotion on the field is different from screaming at coaches and throwing your line under the bus. He's not an elite enough athlete to behave the way he does.
I don't fit the last definition. I think Goodwin has flaws, but of the friends and family plan, he's one of the better hires and I'm happy with our defense for the most part (outside of fundamentals, but that's more on positional coaches than Goodwin).

doesn't make any more than he does. I would hate to have to add THAT to the multitude of things against him, even though some would say he is ALREADY overpaid. Only Judge Keller, and maybe his wife, want to give him a raise. And, those two might be looking at that exactly the same way, who knows.

He used to impose a social media ban to insulate the players from this noise. That is not practical in this era of NIL etc. so he is dealing with those issues differently. I know this is hard for those of you that spew the narrative that Dabo cannot adapt to change but that is exactly what he is doing here.

Dabo did win 2 national championships and 8 conference titles. He's also the second highest paid CFB coach. There are high expectations that come with that salary, he's not volunteering for this job.
The question is, what changed? Why are we not competing for playoffs and national championships anymore? Of course, we all know why, but some people don't like to talk about it.

One of the biggest changes is the expectations of the fans. I remember standing on the field with my daughter, who was the Tiger Cub mascot at the time, after beating FSU in 2015 and shouting “We’re going to Charlotte!” The joy for both of us was immense because we had not experienced that in quite some time. Now that is expected and there is no great joy in it when it happens, but there is bitter disappointment if it doesn’t happen. We have been spoiled by our success. Plain and simple.

who do we actually play that was a legit conference ranked opp? Louisville almost a decade ago
itss been 3 seasons since a CFP appearance
and since pre covid by an entire year since a Natty appearance
the about to 3peat team plays 45 mins down the road
the fact that Clemson appears to be a shell of they use to be
and that Oklahoma looks like Clemsons defense it use to be ... well that's
