The straw that stirs the drink is Dabo

It has always been Dabo. It's been his passion, his vision, his acumen. Who do you think Brent has learned how to run a program from? I remember Brent talking about how foreign it was to him to play so many players early and often. Whose philosophy was that?
Dabo always has a plan. He's been prepared for this for years, same with Elliott. A good boss wants his people to advance themselves, and Dabo is a great boss. The culture here is from one man, Dabo. And he ain't going anywhere.
In fact, his motivation will likely be through the roof. He's been proving people wrong his entire life. You really think that's ending now?

Love Brent, but if it’s his opportunity, I’m All In.

Anyone not happy for Brent, or Elliott

if he moves on is just a miserable human being. Brent has earned this opportunity. Dabo should have earned our trust he knows what he is doing

Regardless of what happens, I appreciate both of them for having the class to never being a distraction and always giving it their all. They both will always be Clemson legends in my book for not only the wins, but the “how” we won. Good people find their way to Dabo, but They have made this a better place in their own right too.

one day. He's been that good.
He and Dabo are very close. Raised their boys together. BV is leaving as a Clemson man and you can bet he appreciates this place as much as any alum

Yep! That said, he faces another defining moment in his career with his DC hire and possibly OC too.

Great points. Dabo will have something to prove - again. Can’t wait to hear him say the best is yet to come!

Maybe but this is not the coaching change that Clemson needed.

I don't think any Clemson fan would disagree with any of those points. It really doesn't even need to be said.
That said, no one should be chastised or called a coot for stating their advice or discussion of who Dabo should hire etc.

No matter what some fans say

Dabo is and has been as motivated as ever. Never bought the complacency talk. He fought like a warrior this year through sub-par QB play, a Mt. Everest size injury list, and more adversity than he's faced since 2010.
The main goal was basically off the table after game 3, but the team fought the whole season. Why is that? Their coach never gave in, so they didn't. That some of our fans couldn't see that is on them

I trust Dabo. Dabo isn't a guy who is a great offensive or defensive coordinator or an x and os coach at all. But he formed the culture and a place where guys who possess those abilities are attracted to be here.
