in That Roy Philpott was allowed on the field behind the LOS with McClain, Swinney, and Riley. I am really not sure how I feel about this, but it was obviously an absence of judgment that allowed it to happen. Not only did Swinney spend the entire afternoon explaining our offensive philosophies, but also explained our signals and how a QB could alter a play based on what he sees on the field, and MOST importantly, he was allowed to stand uncomfortably close to Coach Riley, who at one point, had to ask them to move because Philpott was standing in the wrong spot and his lack of self-awareness could have disrupted as play.
Who does not belong??
I must admit that this is entirely personal, I just do not like his face. But also know that at one point he ran a competing site(into the ground) to our Beloved Tigernet when he was the publisher of CUTiger.com. Many may not be aware of his buffoonish beginnings, but he had a reputation for banning Tnetters from his site for posts they made here, and I was no exception.

I was on that site as well but did not know of anything behind the scenes or whatever happened to that site or Philpott.

I do not appreciate this form of Gonzo Journalism, making the entire game about himself. Crump® and B-Meist® would never ask DavidHood® to stoop this low.

back then everyone was bad. Philpot was just a weak moderator, he tolerated all kinds of trash on that website and it became intolerable. It was the entire reason I moved to Tnet. But the guy that moderated the Rivals Gamecock forum was the worst of them all. There was a checking account fraud scandal from one of their mods that worked for BOA in Chicago that affected a number of us financially, myself included. He died of a heart attack not long after. Ironically he had a pastrami sandwich named after him at a deli in Chicago.
