defended the guy… Anyway, just curious what members here think. I don’t really have an opinion because I do not follow that closely, but I do know we have traditionally had a top program and as alumni, I care. I feel like ever since he said, “we eat pressure like candy,” we have been flailing.

He honestly believes that as fans we have absolutely no right to criticize anything about any aspect of Clemson. There are people that are paid to make decisions and we should respect their decisions at all times and cheer on whatever that is they put in front of us. I don’t agree but it is more logical and he’s more consistent than a lot of posters on this board. There is just no reason to engage if you don’t agree. I’ve tried to point out that what he believes is authoritarian and can result in terrible outcomes, like Paterno at PSU, to no avail.

personally, but at the same time, I’m not blind to the issues with any of our programs. I’m genuinely curious, trolls and emotional responses aside, what the real fans believe we are seeing and what we should really do.
Basketball is no exception. Do I want Brad to be successful? Heck yes, but at the end of the day, I want Clemson to be successful, so if that means we need to make a change, I’m at peace with that.
It can be difficult here in a faceless environment to gauge posters actual intentions, but if you know more than I do about something and have proven it, I’m all ears. Even if at a coaches expense.

Clemson should make the regionals every year! You left out the obvious option that would’ve gotten the vast majority of votes.
Monty gets one more season and better make the Super Regionals.

Ok we beat uga again in mid week good …maybe finally we will turn it around. But that means keeping monte which means mediocre. So like a gamecock fan I heard say. Why does clemson and little brother settle for less in baseball. If a team isn’t making it and hasn’t taken that next step and in our case a super then he gotta go.

Monte Lee is one helluva a Coach and friend. I've followed his career for 15 years and he has done nothing but win. He has a very young team and they are about to take the ACC by storm for the second half of the conference schedule! Have faith, we'll be in ACC tourney and then NCAA tourney!
