Would it in DJ's case? Wasn't the whole point of him going to OSU so that he could be in a pro style offense and showcase his skills? The only thing he seems to have showcased is that it was never the system, but rather DJ who was the issue, as his numbers were near identical. I'm not sure another change in scheme is going to be the cure for what ails him.

DJ is an average QB at best. Had an average year at Oregon St. Not sure why Oregon would want him.

Do average QB’s take 2 different programs in back to back year in 2 different conferences to TOP 10 rankings? He can’t be all that bad…don’t forget we were 5th in the country for 9 weeks last year, and OSU made it to 8th

QB play was not a reason Clemson was ranked in the top 10 at any time last season.
And average qb’s can win national championships (see Stetson Bennett) and even Super Bowls (see Trent Dilfer)

Well if it wasn’t the QB, and it wasn’t the OC that moved us up 50 spots in total offensive, an supposedly our OL and receivers were terrible, please tell me how we were ranked top 5 for 9 weeks….we got rid of QB and OC and moved down in pretty much every offensive category in 2023. So what did make our offense significantly better from 2021 to 2022??
And what made it worse in 2023?
And please use facts…

I mean no disrespect to DJ or Kelly Bryant, but Clemson was the #1 seed in the CFP with Kelly Bryant at QB and I don’t think anyone mistakes him for being anywhere close to the #1 QB in college football that season.

I sure have never talked to anyone that believed DJ was the reasoning behind eithers success. Possibly a good person but average at QB.
