Why wouldn’t they be? They gave a great football team.
Also, if that is overconfident, what do you call Tnet?
Those replies seemed pretty level headed to me. Basically they fully respect Clemson, but feel confident they can still win a close one....unlike the blowout predictions here.

As are Clemson fans about our chances. All of this rhetoric is just rhetoric and means nothing once the game starts. I can’t wait until Saturday when our players and coaches will put it all on the line. Spot the dang ball! Go Tigers!

I’m very confident we will blow them out. We have the better team, we are more experienced at being in the playoffs and winning and we have won 2 of the last 3 natty’s haven’t lost a game since 2017.
If we lose either of the playoff games it will be because we lost to Clemson but We have the best QB in College Football, the best RB’s in college football and the best WR’s.
We will beat LSU and OSU by 25+ points.
42-17 Clemson over OSU
48-14 over LSU

I have it 37-20 Tigers . Just don't believe they'll be able to hang . I think BV makes them one dimensional on offense and I believe our DL plays it's best game of the year .

I like their confidence and why shouldn’t they be. My guess is that we’ll come out fast on offense and score early on OSU and it will be close, but the Tigers pull away in the 4th qtr to win by 14-17 points .
