Why Dj was the starter last year. Also it’s hard to going from generational talent Watson and Lawrence to the qb play we have now.
Also we just have to keep all the good recruits we have in place that’s coming in. Let Go Tigers.

The coaches were accused of playing DJ even though they knew Cade was better.

There were numerous conspiracy theories ranging from Big Dave threatening Dabo to NIL deals stipulating that DJ be the starter.

But of course none of that was true. DJ truly was the better QB last year, which is why he was the starter.

How do we screw up the #1 QB in the nation in 1 year? We either have wrong recruiting analyst or wrong development coaches.

What I wonder is . . have we scared away any top notch QBs?? I mean, after the last three years, not difficult to imagine some guys thinking, heck NO!!

Well, you could say we screwed up two quarterbacks in a row, both DJ and Cade were ranked as the number two rated quarterbacks in the country coming out of high school. Both of them perform horribly at Clemson.

Dude yall have very short term memory. DJ was incredibly bad but lucky enough to have a solid ol. The guy could not hit anything and made a ton of bone headed turnovers just like Cade only he was junior. Yall forgetting plays like the pitch 6 vs Pitt or the 2 ints vs Cuse, or the struggles he had vs Louisiana Tech? Seriously DJ was horrible and they wasted an OL that had some solid players. Anchrum graduating and Parks getting hurt really exposed Thomas Austin's inexperience, how is Cade supposed to operate when he has even less talent around him than DJ had. Ngata as much as everyone hated him was a better wr than anyone on this roster outside maybe brown and stellato.
