I remember my fraternity brother Whit puddle diving. There were a number of other fraternity brothers and of course other fraternities took part. I was enjoying watching those idiots from the fraternity house. That pool of water wasn't very deep. Also, remember having to help Whit salvage his truck from the lake on the road at the corner of Highway 133 and Pike Road. That was a heck of a truck.

Sorry I misspelled Witt's name. Never had to write it.

When it came to Clemson Central Spirit in those days, official or otherwise, two names that stand out are Ford Gibson and Witt Langstaff!

My Clemson career started in the fall of '89. I forgot the actual floor/cell number I had on johnstone Hall, but we had a prime view of Memorial Stadium. Anyway, early in my career, the guys on my hall, we decided one afternoon that we were all going out to Fike field and play football. In the rain. There were about 12 of us who went out. That was pure T fun. Needless to say, the field quickly became a muddy mess. We had played about an hour and we were all slipping and sliding. What started out as football degenerated into who could make the longest belly slide down the mass of mud. I dont believe anyone who knew us would have recognized any of us. we went back to the hall and took some pictures, but they werent what you would call "family oriented" in nature. Man, that was fun.
