Rattler's prolific comments last night could ring true.

Basically said last night's victory and another one (vs Clemson) next week could be the turning point in their program.
I concur, with the turn.

Sorry to ruin the hope of the coots but this one will be worse than the 30-0 last season as the Tigers will humble them again.
When GT beats the dawgs the SEC narrative will be crushed for sure!
Ohio State will beat Michigan and Notre Dame will beat the real USC.

It's always a big deal if your team can beat Clemson.
So I understand where he's coming from, however death valley s a tough place to play. If I remember correctly s.car has only won about one game on the road over the last 3 years.
Next week Spencer will fall into his old habits. Ok he had a nice game. But he has shown he can't do it on the road. It's just facts. They will lay an egg. Literally.
Clemson 34 s car 14

Meh.
Tennessee had zero pass rush and ranked 124th going into that game against the pass. Out of 131 FBS teams. I did the math and after allowing 438 passing yards last night they likely drop all the way to 130 out of 131 teams, meaning only one team (Ohio) is worse. (Shockingly, Ohio is 8-3, and is doing it the same way Tennessee did, offense.)
Rattler clearly throws a beautiful ball...given time, and especially Antwane Wells Junior can clearly murder you on those deep crossing routes...if you give Rattler time and let him linger in a comfy pocket. The problem is, against Clemson he's unlikely to have any kind of pocket to step up into.
Devoid of that, if Clemson can bracket Wells, USC probably resumes struggling. They're playing a converted TE at RB because they're literally out of running backs right now.
They don't match up well.

I agree they don’t match up well against us. I think a perfect storm formed for them last night between Tennessee not having a defense, Satter fighting for his job, there being a total lack of respect, and them playing at home.
My only concern is it seems this years the officials been mostly letting holding calls go uncalled on drop back pass plays. You tend to only see it called when a would be tackler gets held to spring a ball carrier and it’s obvious. My tinfoil hat conspiracy is that with all the focus on targeting, I think there is an unwritten rule to call less of other infractions to make up for the time lost in targeting reviews. Otherwise the games don’t fit in the time slots.
As long as the refs don’t let them hold on to our jerseys like they are kite boarding, I think Rattler has a frustrating night.

Sec refs could be any worse at calling holding than the ACC refs…lol

never amount to a pile of chicken poop. They think they can win a couple games, and all of a sudden future opponents will just lay down in fear for them, and they can quit working.
Dabo, on the other hand, always coaches for US to play to a STANDARD called BEST, which does not include anyone other than CLEMSON. Twelve straight 10 or more win seasons in a row (and COUNTING) says his approach works infinitely better.
