Nothing to see here..

What kind of team would Clemson put on the field in '19 simply from a game plan & play calling aspect IF one of the present Dem/Liberal/ Socialist Candidates were coaching the Team.
Saying..B/4 voting for one of them to run our large Country, maybe seeing what each could do simply managing a well-oiled football machine would result in..a 15-0 season or a 0-12 record.
For example, what kind of game plan would Bernie Sanders put together & his type of play calling on, say, 3rd & long?
Etc for other candidates..like Liz Warren or Joe Biden
LoL, but I kinda know how OUR current President would plan a game, call it from the sidelines and the outcome.

We'd go undefeated. This idea that Dems and Liberals are drastically different from conservatives is absurd.
You'd be surprised how much we all have in common and believe in common.

First they would remove our OLine - no need for a WALL to protect our guys.
Second, we would always allow them to score, because we don't want to hurt their feelings.
Third, our fans would need to pony up a lot more $$$$$$$$$$$$ to pay for the free concessions for the Dims that would be allowed to attend the games.
Fourth, all things would end in 12 years anyway, so it would not really matter after that.
Thank you Dims.

Dim bulb- just how would you place Dabo's policy of "everyone plays" policy compared to Saban's only the best few play approach on the political spectrum? It's not just liberal because no other team comes close to our participation level- it's downright socialistic.

The unemployment rate is so low because so many
Jul 6, 2019, 12:28 PM

Americans are working more than one job to make ends meet. This has been reported on every media outlet, including the Fox Network.
The Trump tax break that provided me an increase of around $80 per pay check, created a federal tax bill for me on April 15th 2019 of over $14K. Almost all of my fellow Clemson Civil Engineer grads owed large amounts of federal tax. I had to add a $540 additional deduction for each of my 26 paychecks this year to not owe federal tax in April 2020. So, basically the Trump Tax break will cost me over $400 per paycheck in 2019.
The irony is that I received a $900 State tax return this year, compared to the $14K check I had to write to the IRS a few months ago.

It is a great time to be an Civil Engineer. The good news

is many states have passed gas tax increases and/or other users fees, including S.C. who finally approved a 12 cent gas tax increase in 2017, the first one in 30 years.
The current Federal Highway Bill (FAST Act) was passed in 2016 with a 5 % increase in federal highway program funds, and a 2% increase each year from 2017-2020. Those increases are program funds, so it translates into minimum federal program increases when they are portioned into the program categories.
It took years to get that federal money approved, but it had been over 20 years since addition real federal program funding increases. Congressional Earmarks were more common that real program funding increases. Earmarks seldom paid for anything more than design for the identified project.
It is local and state money bringing a lot to the table, such as County Sales Tax programs for roadway improvements in York County, Charleston County, Berkeley County, Dorchester County, and Beaufort County among others in South Carolina. The same thing is happening in other states.
My original post was about how misunderstood everyone was/is regarding the Trump Tax plan and how it affected Americans who have a good salary, but are not "rich". The Trump tax plan helped lower income families, and the very rich. The rest of us with good to very good salaries, are bringing home a lot less each month due to the Trump tax plan.

very wealthy are the biggest benefactors (Trumps tax range), not upper middle or middle class families. Most are paying more federal tax with Trumps plan than they did before it was passed.
His plan does provide some benefit to lower income families, but many of them are already working two jobs, hence the lower unemployment rate.

1. People working multiple jobs has absolutely no effect of on the unemployment rate.
2. While you may have owed money to the government that does not mean your tax rate went up. As an an accountant that speciallizes in taxation the majority of my clients had a decrease of 3-5% in their effective tax rate

Are you really arguing that Trump and Republicans love

them some African Americans? With less than 4% of Republican Congressmen non-white, and the ongoing voter suppression efforts, are you really trying to argue that Republicans and Trump love them some black people. Has the lying so infected your brain that you've lost your grip on reality? THE SINGLE greatest indicator of Trump support is racial animus. Try educating yourself about The Southern Strategy.
Trump was sued by the Justice Department because he refused to rent his apartments to black people. The same apartments that blacks were told were not available, were available to rent to white people. That's racist.
2) “Black guys counting my money! I hate it. … I think that the guy is lazy. And it’s probably not his fault, because laziness is a trait in blacks.” DJT
3) He took out a full page ad in the NY Times calling the death penalty for 5 black and latino teens who were wrongly accused of ###### a white woman. He continued to suggest their guilt even after their exoneration with DNA evidence.
3) “I think sometimes a black may think they don’t have an advantage or this and that. I’ve said on one occasion, even about myself, if I were starting off today, I would love to be a well-educated black, because I really believe they do have an actual advantage.”
4)Of Mexicans he said "they're bringing crime, they're bringing drugs, they're rapists, and some, I suppose, are good people."
5) From the White House he called for less immigration from Haiti and Africa and more from Norway.
6) Obama was born in Kenya, Africa and as the first African American President is an illegitimate president.
7) After Charlottesville, he said that white supremacists are "good people" and refused to acknowledge they white surpremacists marching with their torches shouting "you will not replace us."
8) "Look at MY African American!" Trumps loves him some African Americans.

Dabo has instilled enough self responsibility in these young men that it would take more than 1 year for anyone to undo. They would take it upon themselves to do what they needed to do and still end up in the CFP.

LBB Stirred a Hornet's Nest

Bill --- I don't do much hating but I definitely hate war. Before I read any of the responses I knew you had stirred a hornet's nest and some of the Tnet posters would be coming at you with a sharply honed tongue I know it has been hot and you have probably been out in the sun too long. Retreat to your den and have GF1,2 or 3 prepare your favorite adult beverage. Relax, hum TIGER RAG a few times and take a nap. Just be thankful that Dabo is still our coach and will continue to be our coach after you and I have gone to that National Championship Game in the sky

First thing would be to run off assistant coaches and hire
Jul 6, 2019, 12:24 PM
|
|
"only the best and brightest", then begin an assistant coach revolving door from there that would make Saban proud, while each element of the program under their watch would backslide to the Hootie Ingram years when Clemson was really great.
Secondly I would expect to see family members slide into key roles because of course they are the best - starting with QB and working its way from there. You think it's a family atmosphere now? Ha! That's just talk. Blood family is real family - and they come first.
Thirdly, in order to really take the program to the next level, and considering how strong Iptay has grown in contributions over the years, he could cut the spending levels of Iptay's top donors with the understanding that they would voluntarily invest this windfall in seatbacks for all plus other stadium improvements. While this would put our currently thriving program in the biggest annual financial hole in its history, it would generate even more money for the program, you know, later on once Iptay membership grew overall via the allure of those seatbacks and all that other stuff that would voluntarily flow in from those cuts.
Fourthly, and this is the best part, we would of course never ever lose another game. Regrdless of the score and the level of performance on the field, actual scores not in our favor would be labeled fake news, and the rules themselves touted as socialist and anti-American therefore rendering them unfit to form a foundation of truly measuring how great Clemson is and how it should be run.
This leaves us in a great position obviously - we would rattle off the most unprecedented string of national championships in college history that would blow even George Washington's coaching record out of the stratosphere. Take that, Bluebloods!
