What is the difference in Jimmy Graham and Shieff??

Graham started out as a good college basketball at Miami at PF like Shieff, and then became a NFL all pro at Tight End.
Why can't Shieff eventually do the same thing?

Ola wasn't the basketball player that Shieff is looking at both their careers. Not even close...
And Ola played any football what so ever in his whole life...

You could say that about almost any two people. The reality is football is hard and the TE position especially difficult. Does Shieff have the magic and desire not to mention the time to develop in one year? I personally he becomes an all american this year but lets let it play out.

Graham had like 200 yards at Miami. Realistically, he could have a few packages, but it’s unlikely he’ll be an impactful player for us. He could still develop down the road, perhaps even at the NFL level, but that will be once he’s out of eligibility for here at Clemson.

I don't have any expectations of him becoming anymore than a special package player while at Clemson. He has ample athletic ability but you don't become a football player in 4 months.
I'm sure Dabo will get him in during some garbage time to have him catch a jump ball from the goal line enough times that a NFL team would be willing to sign him as a UDFA though.

Jimmy Graham is a way better athlete and they aren't remotely similar.
