What these 3 guys are doing along with other commits is infectious, and it's infecting others who aren't yet committed. Dabo and staff has put together and mastered their style of recruiting that is hard to duplicate with other coaches around the country... Go Tigers!!!

Glad to see he's moved on from a disappointing performance at The Opening. Regardless of how far his star rating drops, I'm still glad he's a Clemson Tiger.

It wasn't intended to be...it was my poor attempt at disgust over the way the media has portrayed his performance at the opening, how they've dropped him from #1 overall to #3 and how he "lost" a star. It was meant more sarcastic towards such ant-Clemson hate in the media! Agree or disagree, it's the way I see it.

Why do people keep saying he lost a star? He has the same star rankings as he always has per every service. And where did he get dropped from 1st overall qb to 3rd? Rivals and 247 and 247 composite were the only two services that had him as the #1 pocket passing qb, and he still is.

Don't forget that when they asked the other players at the Opening if they could choose their QB (but not their own) from among those there, the majority chose Hunter. That says a great deal about what a great QB he is.

Only motivational fuel for the future. Besides, D. Watson 7-7 performance was similar. The real games aren't played in this manner. Too many factors for errors and star ranking can't make decisions and play the games on gamedays.

I didn't get to watch the opening... but my understanding is that although the team with a bunch of clemson guys got bounced, I thought Johnson only got 1 or 2 series or something? Or did he really have a bad performance?
