Do u think people would be fussing about the 13-5 win over Tulane as much as we are about the 37-27 win against the cuse?

It's a long season to try to go 15-0... Mama said there'll be days like this. A win is a win.

Back then the freakin' newspaper was our major source of information and opinion.

I would get up early to retrieve the Sunday Greenville News to flip to the box score to get my stats from the game. And to see what the rest of the college football world did.

Holy cow, I did the same thing! I'd often get up before the sun and go get the Greenville News before it sold out!
Sometimes the stores weren't open yet and the papers would be bundled up outside. I'd slide one out and leave the money sitting on the stack! Ahhhh....the good old days! Lol
