It's pretty amazing that nothing has changed after the loss

And it is kind of remarkable, really. Even if we had beat Pitt a loss to either Wake, the coots, or VT would have almost certainly eliminated us.
So, each of these games would have been a must-win anyway.
Considering the other upsets last weekend, we literally could not have picked a better game all season, or perhaps any game of any season, to lose.
I think our team is completely aware that they have been gifted new life. I look for us to be a team on a mission these last couple of weeks.
Who knows, we may be looking back at the Pitt game as the most important one to our overall success and the catalyst to a championship.

In a interesting twist, it was a Pittsburgh loss in 1981 to

Penn State that allowed Clemson to move to #1. That was Pitt's only loss that year.
Here's hoping Pitt will again indirectly play a role in Clemson winning a football national championship.

There is nothing good about Losing to Pitt. The only sure way to the CFP is an undefeated ACC Champ. A 1 Loss ACC Champ has a chance to be left out.

Definitely not saying it was a "good" thing, but I disagree with you

At this point given the records of teams across the country, Clemson is guaranteed a spot in the playoffs if we win out.
Not sure how anybody could really debate otherwise given our schedule and who we have beaten relative to other 1-loss teams.

Nothing is guaranteed especially a 1 loss ACC team. That has struggled vs some not so great teams. Yeah it looks like if we win out we will be OK. But nothing is guaranteed

Considering that the last 4 national championship games have featured 3 ACC champions , I'd say there is a square chance that at 12-1 Clemson gets the nod.

Don't worry. If Clemson wins out, they will be in the CFP.

Wins against Louisville, FSU, Auburn and Troy plus ACC championship WILL get us in there!
