To question anything about the absolute accuracy of any US election is tantamount to taking a #### on the US flag. Well any election since 2020. Prior to that their accuracy was questioned on an almost constant basis. Wonder what changed.

How does that work in urban areas where millions of people are suppose to do that in a 12 hour window? What about those who have to work or are out of town on election day? If you're willing to allow the vote to happen over 2 week period, then maybe.

I’m in favor of increasing the days to do it the in person old fashion way and eliminate the fraud. So yes. Well, reduce the fraud , it can’t be eliminated.

Not having this conversation with you. But my answer is I don’t know. But common sense tells us our current mess opens the door for cheating. I want to make sure registered citizens and only citizens vote one time. Surely we all want that.

Common sense…or years of orchestrated efforts to sow distrust in our institutions, election security, election workers, etc?
Our ‘mess’, as you put it, is not a lack of election integrity, it’s a lack of skepticism with regard to the information you are being spoon fed by bad actors through their band of useful idiots in the far right media.

And how much hand wringing were you doing in elections prior to 2020 whose integrity was constantly being questioned by leftists? If these "bad actors" to use your term didn't upset you perhaps you should look in the mirror to properly define what exactly a useful idiot looks like.

Well, since I’ve voted for both parties all up and down the ballot since I started voting in 1988, I would be alarmed at any significant evidence of fraud. I would take seriously any actual proof of material tampering/fraud from anyone in any election…and if there was any of that in this case, I would certainly take that seriously as well.
But, there’s not any real evidence…just desperate hail Mary’s in an attempt to scare people into voting for a populist strong man, who appeals to the worst base desires in all of us. I’ll admit, it has a good chance of working and I would not be surprised if Trump slithers back into the WH in 2024…but it’s just delaying the inevitable.
The problem for what’s left of the Republican Party is not voter fraud, it’s demographics…and these are not on your side. Those who run MAGA know this…but instead of trying to broaden the base, they’ve chosen to go scorched earth and burn it all down. A Trump Presidency, a partisan SCOTUS, and decades of gerrymandering will buy a little more time at the bonfire, but ‘your idea of America’ is already lost, you just refuse to see it. The minority cannot rule forever.

You're not having this conversation cause the MAGAt claims of "stolen election" and widespread fraud has not been proven. The willingness to storm the capital and assassinate elected leaders based on this lie has been confirmed. Own it. 😆

Recounting a bunch of ballots over and over in an "audit" does nothing to validate or invalidate the legality of the ballots themselves.

Not when it's an actual established and credible entity. Or it works when your sources--which you tend to post--are busted lying about the very topic you're arguing.

You've shown me a very, very small handful of cases dating back to 1982 that show violations of election law by a few individuals in both red and blue states.

criminal convictions.
What percentage of actual fraud gets prosecuted? 1%? 2?
But the real problem (besides who TF knows what is going on with the electronic machines) is that nobody knows how many mail in ballots are legit. Once the ballot is separated from the envelope, there is no way to know. So if it gets past the stage where whoever is processing the ballot initially says it's OK, there is auditing it beyond that point.
