For me golf is almost as much about the courses as it is the players and; I don’t give two sheets about any of the places they’ll play. Plus they have tiger in their corner he’s worth 50 brooksies.

I am with you about the course. Its an individual sport too, so who cares if someone leaves, but that Saudis are just giving them crazy amounts. We do need the best dudes at the Majors. I guess they can do both when it comes to majors?

Augusta National has F you money and clout so they’re gonna invite whomever the hale they please irrespective of what the PGA tour says. The PGA championship, now that’s another story.

That's always the been the case at August. They use some of their invitations based on the tour standings, winners, etc. but it is not the tour telling them who will play in their tournament. Same in USGA events, i.e. the Open.

PGA is definitely nervous. The guys at the top who rake in the most money upped the prize package by 20% at the last tournament. It’s all about the money

Terrorist Tour. Eff all those guys who are bailing on the PGA, which made them all gazillionaires just to play a game they love. Eff em all. They also need to remember that those Saudis would love to see their head on a pole, in a perfect world...

There’s not many players who have made a ton off of the PGA. By no means are they struggling but still. Most of their money comes from endorsements. If you don’t make the cut in the PGA you don’t get a check. Where the guys that have signed with the LIV tour have guaranteed money. The biggest draws in the game are still with the PGA IMO, but it’s hard for someone to turn down generational changing money that isn’t a mainstay at the top of the leaderboard

As long as younger guys like JT, Morikawa, Rahm, Spieth stay with PGA they are fine. Lose some of the bright young guys and it could get hairy

LIV can hang around as long as they want financially ...

They have much more funding than the PGA ... and no need for revenue.
As for history, the Crown Prince took all bank accounts and possessions from the Bin Laden family and killed Osama Bin Laden associate/friend/spy Khashoggi. The Bin Laden family did not even support Osama Bin Laden. The Saudi royal family sure as #### did not support or endorse 9/11. But the PGA is certainly acting like they did.
