First, I don’t know if the ACC should be given 3 automatic spots. I do know the ACC should not agree to the same # of spots as the B12. Outside of the SEC/B1G, FSU, Clemson, and Miami are the only 3 schools who are legitimate NC contenders. UNC if they put down the round ball.

NOONE should be given any automatic spots other than the league champion. Period.

If you want to do 2 autos for the p4 each then fine but there needs to be a sufficient # of open slots and flexibility - if that can’t be done with 16 to suit the SEC and BIG then make it a 20 or 24 team playoff.

when 2 of the 4 conferences get a higher number of auto bids vs the other 2 conferences..and we know the 3 at large bids will be going to the big and sec. i still dont get how the acc doesnt have an anti trust suit with espn. they are constantly maneuvering with the sec to position them money wise while burying our conference

Right but the SEC and B1G “deserve” more spots because they have more marketable teams who as a result are programs who can actually contend given the lack of parity. The same is true of the ACC when compared to the B12.

aka conference champ. say the big 12 and acc take off and the big and sec have some down years. yet both conferences are limited to only 2 while the other conferences get 4 no matter what based on talking heads spinning how great they are
