We all played a full season and Clemson has the 2nd best overall conference record WITHOUT tiebreakers. Dabo and staff earned it with a 7-1 league record.

Though every team that has lost any conference game needed help to win their conference (in these days of mega conferences). And in fact we could’ve potentially “needed help” even had we won all our conference games since there is a tiebreaker that is outside of your control for 3 unbeatens.

We went 7-1 in conference. The order of the games (and chronology of when they are played) doesn’t change the fact that we have the second best conference record. And we weren’t waiting in a team that beat us to lose 2 more (which might be called backing in). We earned it. Enjoy it.
