I plan to have both. American made cotton from Louisiana, and Italian stretch, biodegradable denim. I believe those are the best available and both sources are being very conscience about sustainability and not harming the planet.

-In-between -I've been open-minded to a little stretch as I get older -Zipper -DGAF where they are made -No gusset -A bit faded blue. Not too dark, not too light. Anything in between. -Light weight -Yes. Do it all the time because I hate shopping in-person. I generally have a couple of models I like, whether regular or boot-cut, and I just get those again with the proper sizes. My size hasn't changed in years.

Well, some say don't wash for months and hang them in the sun. Mine will be pre-washed which should eliminate some fading onto clothing and shrinking. When you do wash, I recommend wash inside out in cold and hang dry or dry on low-heat. These do last Considerably longer than others, over time will be softer, and develop a one of a kind jean. The fabric is better quality and one can usually track where they were grown...if one wanted to.

If you #### your pants, by all means, wash them. Wash inside out too, hang dry to shrink less, low heat if necessary. High heat is always bad for denim. Again, if I do this, I plan to have a prewash for the raw selvedge and probably for the stretch denim.
And take some Imodium!

Vidalia Mills produces some of the best denim now all with American grown cotton. They also use the original looms that Cone Mills of Greensboro used when they made denim in the US.
