I really wish that would happen, and I wish our coaches wouldn't allow them access to interviews, either. That said, sadly, they do control the market right now. Their bias really needs to be called out, though.

These kids go to camp after camp to showcase their skills and based on what these recruiting services see they shuffle and try to be the "most accurate".
I don't agree with Watson being moved down but I haven't seen him or the others in person.
I'd like to hope its not sec bias but you never know.

The guys from 24/7 were trying to justify moving some of the recruits around and they said that they were basing it on there camps. They were saying that some were moved because they did so well at the camps. One of the posters questioned them about a kid that had just committed to bama. Apparently he has been a 3 star since the ratings came out. He was just moved up to a 4 star and jumped up 17 spots at his position (about 2 weeks after committing) and has not been to any of the camps this summer. When asked about this, the insider guys stop responding to the posters.

Stars, ratings, # whatever out of however many, # whatever in your state...it's all hot air, all of it. Yeah, the guys making them up do know a thing or two about football, but they don't know these kids anywhere near as well as Dabo Swinney. We all know very well that Dabo and his staff spot talent easier than an elephant in the room, and if Dabo wants somebody, then I want them too. We already know we have one of the top classes in the nation; don't let these trifling little number changes bother you. It doesn't matter where we end up, what matters is that we got the guys Dabo wants.
