Mizzou always wanted the Big 10 but the Big 10 passed on them. LSU has been in the SEC since 1932; why go to the lame Big 12? You scenario has zero merit.
It's like saying wouldn't it be cool if Ohio State joined the ACC and USCjr joined Conference USA? Your theory makes about as much sense.
