The committee are the only people who matter. They haven't told us what they think yet.
2. Being in the top 4 now is nice, but neither sufficient nor necessary. The first ranking by the committee gives us something to talk about, but it is only the last ranking of the committee that matters.
3. These truths remain:
A. Win 'em all and you're in.
B. Lose 1 and you need some help.
C. Lose 2 and you're out.

committee has us as high as #3 tomorrow night! Why?...because we will likely be the only team with three top 25 wins...that should count for more than a so-called, undefinable "eye-test"! I will be surprised if we are lower than #5.

Meee Tooo! I'm just sorry we're driving. I'd rather be in 7th place right now so we can impress the committee with our late season development when we 'peak at the right time.'
We will stomp a mudhole out of USuCk. Then in the ACCCCG when only a few games are scheduled that weekend we lay an epic butt whipping on whichever team shows up on the other side of the field and the POC will see who belongs and who doesn't.
It's another fairy tale seasons that going to look like it was scripted by Walt Disney.

College football has gravitated more toward style points over the past years, especially since the Playoff era began. This year hasn't been so much about Clemson's schedule, its been more on how they haven't put opponents away to get those big wins and covering the spread like most others have. It's dumb imo, you find a way to win...that simple, but that's just how it works now in College football. I still look at it from the stand point of just playing a clean game, we've been winning these games all while having 100 yards worth of penalties or 4 turnovers in a game, if all that gets cleaned up those big wins will happen. A lot of it is just bad luck, Up 14-0 on Wake and every pass attempt turned into a flag or catch by them, up 17 on NC ST and multiple bailout flags on 3rd downs kept their scoring drives alive, up 20 on FSU and had a TD called back and several missed tackles and questionable calls. They just need to play clean and fast, Both the offense and defense just needs to be in full on attack mode for 60 mins. Regardless, Clemson wins out...they will be in the final 4 teams due to the others having to play each other.
