If you’d been paying attention you would have noticed that Fox has starting slotting premium games at noon coming out of their Saturday morning kickoff show. ESPN has countered by also putting more desirable matchups at noon to try and undercut them. ESPN doesn’t give two sheets about who wins against FSU and Clemson; all they care about it beating Fox.

ESPN wants viewers. Noon national game is the second most watched game on Saturday's. ND/Bucknuts play at 8PM and will dominate the ratings then. It's about money, as it always is

And I think our paper tickets had the time printed on them. Had our tail gate lunch and got home at a reasonable hour to watch the news and highlights from the days games.
(Only about 3 tv channels too!)
