First of all, the B1G is very close to the ACC in basketball top to bottom and please spare me with the nearly pre-season challenge tournament results. Secondly, by tearing down a team that clearly has earned their way to the champ game while our team has been home for a week or so makes you sound like an absolute COOT! Go home or say something intelligent.

The Big 10 only had 4 teams in the NCAA tournament this year, so no they are not very close to the ACC in basketball (at least not this year) who had 9 teams. Also he is right that Michigan's path to the championship was a joke compared to Villanova's. Michigan played teams seeded 14, 6, 7, 9, and 11 to get to the final. Villanova on the other hand played teams seeded 16, 9, 5, 3, and 1. Michigan played Cinderella upset winners in the Sweet 16, Elite 8, and Final 4.

Syracuse, our lowest rated team in the tournament from the ACC beat their highest rated seed, so idk if i'd say top to bottom it's identical.

Well yes it is. Winning any conference is big for a team. Especially winning a conference as prestigious as the big 10. Michigan has more than earned their way to the title game. Not their fault the top seeded teams lost before they played them. They beat who was put in front of them. I don't like Michigan but they have earned it don't hate.

If they had faced, and beaten, the "better" teams you wouldn't have posted in the first place. Therefore it is a safe assumption that you feel they would have lost to a higher ranked seed, had said higher ranked seed(s) not lost previously.

Your point was Michigan didn't deserve to be there because of the "easier road," and that last night validated that point. However, when it was pointed out that Nova defeated higher seeds by double digits as well you stated it wasn't in the championship so it didn't matter.
I mean, it's pretty obvious that Kansas, TT, and WVU didn't play in the championship, as they lost. That's not hard to understand.
So what exactly is your point? Because it's changed a few times, with each time still being incorrect, so really it's you creating this "invalid rabbit hole."

That in no way, shape, or form does anything to take away from Michigan "deserving" to be there (which was your original point, by the way).

the tournament pretty even in KenPom, UVA might have even been slightly ahead. Fast forward to the end of the tournament and Nova is 4+ pts clear of the field in adjusted EM.
Jay Wright is a darn good tournament coach... Tony Bennett certainly has not been up to this point.

Butler teams (12th and 36th) that lost in back to back finals. 7th is also a higher finish than both UConn title teams this decade (10th and 15th), and the Kentucky team that Uconn beat in 2014 (13th). That 2014 final was a 7 seed vs an 8 seed, in case you have forgotten.

No team is ever undeserving. Think about your statement. You say they're undeserving b/c of the seeds they played. Well they played lower seeds b/c OTHER similar or higher seeds lost so how is Michigan undeserving for taking care of business when similar teams LOST their games? It's the ncaa tourney. It doesn't make any difference who you played to get there. EVERY team is dangerous in the tourney and especially the deeper you get into it. Nonsense

If a team defeats every team it plays in the Dig Dance why is it not deserving of a spot in the finals?
I'm not a fan of Michigan but they played and defeated the teams in their bracket. They did not choose the schedule. Any two teams that meet in the finals are worthy opponents and every team in the Big Dance has that opportunity, even Clemson.
