I think each player from that recruiting class has been a scholarship well spent. We needed a solid backup for DW4 to bring Kelly along and that worked out well. I must say we got lucky there cause I do think that bringing in Nkhemdeche seemed like a big deal but to be honest we hit home runs with Wayne and Carter so that’s pretty good average

Great article Daniel. Sentiments expressed were on target. Dabo is a once in a generation coach who loves his players and they know his genuine caring for their success on and off the field. Tigers are so blessed.

because of his Christian beliefs . There's no getting around it. His love for his players and his fellow man shows when he speaks and also by his actions .

Good read, Daniel. I commented yesterday that all of the players are family to Dabo. That goes for staff as well. Nkemdiche turned into a good football player in college but there were some off field issues that make me wonder how he would have fared in Dabo's system. Dabo insists that his players buy into all aspects of the program or they need to go. Just ask Chad Kelly.

graduates and student body are pretty happy with him too. I'd venture to say even John Swafford gets a tingle up the leg when he cashes the check Dabo earn for him every year.
Although the fans of other teams aren't happy with Dabo he has earned their respect on and off the field. As far as the media, they shouldn't ask questions or make comments which remove all doubt they are ignorant.
