I picked up a Henry arms .22 mag “golden boy” repeater not too long ago. The action is fun and super smooth, it’s a great little varmint rifle to carry around the woods when scouting or looking for sheds.
I was looking for an older Winchester model 94 30-30, but people are spending upwards of a G on those. I’ll spend that on a waterfowl gun, but not on a plaything.

Hey, when the gravy seals or green beignets come for you, just leave a bag of sweet sixteen powdered doughnuts and a box of KK glazed at the top of the stairs. They are highly trained so each doughnut is only one bite, but climbing a flight of stairs will require at least 2 minutes to recover and they are usually so winded they can’t lick their fingers while gasping for air. That will give you just long enough to flatten the tires on their dodge caravan and get away. They will sometimes find a way to take up chase, so plan your route so that you pass a Waffle House or Golden Corral…you’ll be safe and sound.

The .223 round is so much lighter, making us more mobile, and with the less weight we can carry infrared cameras, and the 40 other lbs of crap soldiers now run around with. All you need is a full metal jacket and it kills just as well.
