Curious what y’all’s thoughts are. Personally, I think they have to win the Championship to get a top 8. Regardless they are playing good ball right now.

I think it definitely does if unc beats fsu, we beat unc, and southern miss beats coastal for the conference championship.

In the convo for sure, but I think we need the W tomorrow. Still proud of this team. It felt a little below standard in the bad run with NCState and FSU, but the Tigers have a chance to fix the second tomorrow (I assume FSU makes the final). Either way, very proud of these Tigers! Go get it tonight in softball too!

Clemson top 8 even with the championship win. I figure they will go with Texas, LSU, Arkansas for sure. UNC and FSU will be in the top 8. Probably Oregon. After that it will be a question of choosing between Vanderbilt, Georgia, Oregon State, possibly Coastal, and Clemson.

Why would FSU be in the Top 8?? They ate four rungs below Clemson now! They would pass us only if the beat Unc and Clemson tomorrow.

Coastal has a SOS of 72 plus 2 loses in the Q3/Q4 category. I don’t see them having done enough as a mid-major to take a top 8 spot from the bigger conferences.

I have a feeling the 8th seed will get one of the few teams in the SEC that doesn't host a regional as the #2 seed next weekend.

Tennessee losing today definitely helped. If UNC and Southern Miss win they’ll bump Coastal and FSU down and give us a much better shot.
