Did the GT player toss it at the dugout and not get ejected? Just curious.

yup, flipped it right towards our dugout, ump did nothing. I would have taken it and gave it to a staffer to take in the locker room

Go back and watch the replay. He didn't flip the bat at all. He carried it about a third of the way down the baseline as he watched the homerun and then threw it at his feet with both hands. No bat flip and the bat was nowhere near the dugout. I think Bakich was just upset that the bullpen gave up 11 runs in the last 3 innings and lot it a little bit. It would have been nice if someone asked him about it in the postgame presser but nothing was asked.

So, he slammed the bat down with two hands? That may be worse than a flip.

You can say that again. How does one acquire null%? And one post every other year? That’s peculiar.

How did the bat get close enough to Bakich that he could put it in the dugout? Was he on his way out to the mound again to yank the pitcher?

Like I said. Watch the replay. It is clear as day. The bat ended up right next to the baseline. Nowhere near the dugout and no the bat wasn't flipped. Making stuff up to make yourself feel better doesn't change the facts.

Dude, chill. I’m not making anything up. I’m just curious how Bakich managed to bring the bat into the dugout. Seems like the options are that the bat was near the entrance to the dugout or he walked out to the baseline and brought it back to the dugout. Which was it?

Maybe the bullpen should start pitching good again. Though home plate umpires could do better too they have ruined MLB with pinching way at the strike zones

Well if he would've thrown it back to them and it happen to flip end over end, he would be thrown out of the game

Did anyone hear why Bakich took the starting pitcher out after 6 and giving up 3 single runs? Managers think they have to "go to the Pen", not too smart yesterday.

Bakich said they are holding to pitch counts to preserve the starter arms as innings have accumulated. Similar reasoning for giving Knaak last weekend off.
