I know orange pants are for championship games but we have a chance to punch out ticket to a bowl game. A doubt it will happen but we should wear the purple jersey orange britches combo

I’m pretty sure that was bc winning the division out right was on the line in the Louisville game… we had clinched a spot in the champ game but that game was for winning the division out right hence the orange britches.

Just an opinion. All purple is ugly. Purple AND orange is even more ugly. Orange and white or all orange for me. Use the purple for accent stripes, numbers, or names. Sometimes it"s ok to be color blind. Tomorrow for example. IMHO

LOL Calling uniform combo's that Dabo started only after 2008 is a "Tradition"? That sounds kind of cootish.
Orange pants for any big game is a real tradition. Period. Danny started it 45 years ago in the 1980's.

Lol actually the "orange pants for championship games" is a recent thing, like 2013 onwards. They used to bust out the orange pants whenever, for any game they deemed worthy.
You make it sound like wearing them for championships only is some long standing tradition.. which is a real stretch.

Didn't they do Purple jersey/ orange pants last year when they were playing for the Atlantic division? Pretty sure they did. So now with no divisions the only time we get to wear them is the coot game or the ACCCG?

I liked it better when they wore the orange pants for big games and not the arbitrary "championships only" rule. That's only a very recent thing. Like 2013 onwards.
