The way our "fans" are crying you would think we would be much worse. The fact of the matter is that most of the "fans" on tigernet will complain no matter what because they have brownell derangement syndrome. These haters would have predicted us with a much worse record to start the season, but show no appreciation when we are doing much better. Prior to the season i laid out my prediction and ive only gotten 2 games wrong, and we have the exact record I predicted. Of course some of the most vocal haters strongly disagreed, but here they are still complaining.

To reiterate how special our fans are. These were some comments after our first loss....on the road....to Memphis who is now ranked. Also mind you at this time we were ranked and had the #1 RPI
Rocky The Tiger was thankful we lost: "SO thankful we can finally stop pretending we have turned some kinda corner with our doorknob head coach."
Tiger Swimmer: Yes, when it comes to Brad ball, reality has a strong troll vibe.
Johnny Boy: It’s amazing how quickly some people just forget about 13 years because of 9 games. Brown the Clown is no different this year, he’s blessed with a veteran team, but he’ll mess it up just like he always does!..... "the truth is the truth, Brown the Clown is no different than the clown show of the last 13 years."

The only thing I was thankful for - you know, the silver lining to the cloud of a loss - is that we can stop pretending we have turned some kinda corner with our 14 year wet nurse experiment . . .
The next sentence says I WISH WE WOULD HAVE WON and I offered a suggestion for our coach to try next time so maybe we win the game - instead of 6 guys, maybe put SEVEN guys on the court to end the game.
And the next big game - Miami - all kinda excited about watching it - they are out their #1 guy - we are favored - we know they are going to run at a pretty fast clip, so we have to substitute a bunch - even for just brief in and outs - and we get beat by 10. And our guy says - well - maybe we should have done something different because we were gassed at the end of the game.
And then the most hated holes - at HOME - sold out LJ - we crap the bed with a lackluster performance with horrible shooting and uninspired D.
It is the same thing - over & over & over . . . .
With our best team in a long time - it is the same thing over & over.
I THINK Neff will do the right thing and find us a great coach & you will see how foolish The Cult is for hanging on to Bradball so freaking long.
It's like the people who hung onto Bowden for 2 or 3 or 5 years too long, thinking we can't do better - I know, because I was one of them.
And now look.

in the ACC...the very definition of mediocre. There is zero special about him. He doesn't recruit very well. He still can't manage end-of-game situations. His teams have no particular style, unless "boring" is a style. And every time you think there's a light at the end of the tunnel, it's just another train.
For the life of me, I can't figure out how he still has a head job in the ACC. The only thing I can surmise is that nobody at Clemson with any real power cares about basketball.

I see all this banter and agree with some of it. Does Brownell do anything right? I’m assuming that there are some redeeming qualities that ensure his employment, OR is the Clemson administration just a bunch of morons?

As people scramble for facts to prove Vizzy’s analysis only showed the downward trend the mob expected, the data says otherwise. Not a total epiphany, but better.
Better to complain about a player’s shot selection and cherry pick insignificant in game events than argue the real facts. Looking at you olemike!
For the record, free throws win games. That is why he remains, for now.
