Who is Adam Choice?
The injury to Zac Brooks earlier this week means that freshman running back Adam Choice will avoid a redshirt and play this season, giving Clemson fans an early look at one of the top recruits in the 2014 recruiting cycle. Who is Adam Choice, and what makes him a player to watch this season? Full Story » |

Sounds like the type of back we haven't had in quite some time.

My recollection is that Spiller was frustrating to watch sometimes early in his Clemson career because, it seemed to me, he was, in hs, very used to being able to juke defenders. As a result, we saw a season or two when he did a lot of dancing for little to no gain. Of course, when he did get by defenders he was greased lightning. Choice was the qb in an option offense which suggests he might have pretty well developed reading abilities, but apparently, he was very successful in hs. He is going to see speed like he has never seen before and this might hamper some, but I expect we will see what it is that made him so successful in hs. I just hope we see enough of it in the first few games to give a shot at a good season.

Well he's been play against our D, which is supposed be really good and fast. Recall that it was Adan Choice who ran over Vic Beasley. Curious that Dabo left Flemming out of the mix.

You didn't bag on the OL and how 'he will be a non factor with nobody to block for him'. Do you feel ok or are you just going soft?

Or you could try and see something positive happening. Hot Rod had a 1000 yard season last year. And our O Line this season is expected to be a little better, a little more talented. Any of our RBs could have a very good season.

I'll take that all day long. I actually think Dye will be the better back when he gets healthy, but Choice does have that low center of gravity you like. We should have a good stable of RBs next year if Brooks and Dye come back healthy along with Choice and Gallman. And the year after that we will hopefully enter the Tavien Feaster era...because he is in a class of his own.

If Choice can be our power runner bc he's 210 lbs. , but Gallman is 210 & Howard is 210?

I agree, but Gallman runs with bad intentions.

Both will prove to be good (hopefully great) backs for us IMO. I really like the way Gallman runs, especially knowing he's only a freshman.
