Third option...use last season of eligibility to play

football for Clemson. It seems unlikely that he would get a lot of PT at CB or WR, but if he has the skills to play in the NFL, then he certainly should be able to play for Clemson, right?

He's already used all his eligibility or he could take a red shirt year and work with one of the top wide receiver coaches in the country

He could play at Clemson, you have 5 years to play 4. He would be a redshirt senior in football.
If you remember Kyle Parker was a junior on the baseball team and a red shirt sophomore on the football team.

incorrect. KP was indeed what you say but both of those translate into 3rd year in program. Hall has played 4 years. a year of football would had to have been concurrent with 1 season of basketball.

You have 5 years to play 4 IN EACH SPORT. He has no basketball eligiblity left but since he started school in the 2011 school year, he still has 1 year to play any other sport at a college level.

Finally, we have a basketball player...

That commentators don't generically say "Boy, he looks like he could play TE for Tommy West/Tommy Bowden/Dabo Swinney!" So tired of that repeat line. Use to hear it all the time with Harold Jameson and Chris Hobbs, etc. How bout compliment them on being a good basketball player that picked the right sport? "Boy, that Jordan Roper looks like he could be the starting punter for the Tigers!"

How is this ridiculous ? He was contacted by the NFL after not having played football competitively since HS in Augusta , Ga. He chose basketball because it was his best situation from a scholarship standpoint ( at least that's how Rod Hall saw it ) and he got to be a Clemson Tiger BB player . Not sure what is ridiculous about that .

Well,

he put 4 years...4 years into being a VERY VERY average basketball player. That really didn't get any better from year 1 to year 4. I heard... He was a descent football player. Now, had he gave that a shot early enough, maybe that would had been his calling. Shouldn't had taken that long to figure it out.
Anyways...what ever. #21

Hey, how about you stop being a complete a$$. Rod gave four years to our program. I for one am glad he did. Exactly what have you done for Clemson besides bitching and whining on a message board?

Since this board allows opinions, here's one - Rod's best chance at pro sports is football. Thanks Rod, for your four loyal years as a Tiger hoopster.

Did you attend school? Did you learn the English language in school? If so, apparently you were a very very average student at best. Your written communication skills are at best average. Maybe you should go back and take remedial courses to improve your lack of skills.
"anyways? gave that a shot? What ever?"

a workout for one player. Not many players get to choose between football and basketball offers for college. Good luck Rod in the future.

on the same turf. Not sure a need for a 4.55 hand held that hasn't played in 5 years at DB or WR in the NFL. I wish him the best in over sea's basketball though.
