Job Title: Defensive Player Development Job ID: 13401 Full/Part Time: Full-Time Regular/Temporary: Regular
POSITION DESCRIPTION: Athletics Coach - Defensive Player Development JOB FUNCTIONS: 1. Assist Defensive Coordinator with any needs E/20% 2. Assist Defensive Coordinator with preparation of the install plan for spring practice and fall training camp E/15% 3. Responsible for the management of opponent play drawings and practice cards E/5% 4. Assist with the printing and distribution of scouting report books E/5% 5. Assist with the printing and distribution of scouting reports to the players E/5% 6. Assist with the daily preparation, typing, and distribution of practice scripts E/5% 7. Assist with the daily preparation and organization of practice cards E/5% 8. Observe and make notes of defensive corrections during practice E/5% 9. Game day responsibilities assigned by the Defensive Coordinator E/5% 10. Assist with all on-campus and in-office defensive recruiting E/5% 11. Assist with the evaluation process for defensive prospects E/5% 12. Assist with on-campus recruiting of defensive prospects on game day, Junior Days, football camps, etc. E/5% 13. Assist with monitoring class and housing issues of defensive players E/5% 14. Assist defensive coaches with any clinic needs (presentations, Power Points, cut-ups, etc.) E/5% 15. Assist Coach Swinney with any needs and assist with Football Banquet E/5% QUALIFICATIONS: Required-Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of three years coaching or work-related experience in Division 1 level sports. Must have a knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations and able to communicate with a diverse university population. PAY & WORK SCHEDULE: Standard Hrs: 40; Salary commensurate with credentials and experience.
