Hopefully the link below works. I was looking at headlines on Foxnews.com and this was on the front page. If the link doesn't work you should be able to find it on YouTube. Coach Bakich did an interview about shaking the Veterans hands between innings during home games.

This is great recognition for Clemson and the team!
Pretty sure there would be bashing by the progressive media prior to new president taking office last month. Sure is nice to see acts of kindness being recognized for what they are and not an angle for agenda bashing.

And the Fox news announcer Ainsley Earhardt, a coot graduate and was formerly married to a Clemson football player, had to announce that even though it was a rival school as she admitted.

She was married to Will Proctor, was he the QB that was on the Bachelor? Ainsley was 8-9yrs older than Proctor, now she is dating Hannity and he is like 15yrs older than she is. I did not know she was a Coot.

Bakich has a lot of good things happening with CU Baseball

Getting lots of free publicity with things like this (not that this is why he's doing it, but it doesn't hurt!) and hosting the Savannah Bananas for a game, in addition to fielding a really good team.
That's one of the many things I love about Clemson - it's always more than just Ws and Ls and rankings. It's about character, and integrity, and making Best the standard in more than just one aspect.
Go Tigers!

Bakich is near the front of the pack in college baseball in terms of embracing NIL. He thinks there's money to be made for these players in the NIL world and college baseball doesn't have the visibility of football or basketball, so he has been very progressive on that front. He pushes for opportunities for eyeballs, "viral moments", etc. That's one of the main reasons why we played in that tournament in Texas two weeks ago. FloSports is not a major network by any stretch of the imagination, but you get a lot more eyeballs playing Oklahoma State, Arizona, and Ole Miss than playing Sacred Heart and UW-Milwaukee.

I was watching Fox News this morning when this segment was aired. Pretty cool recognition for our University and baseball program! Makes you proud to be a Tiger!

That's awesome. Should buy Bakich some grace from those fans complaining that he was all 'woke' because he participated in a conference addressing how to get more young black kids into the sport at earlier ages due to prohibitive equipment costs and facilities for organized play.
