Never thought I'd be conflicted about this

Part of me is rooting against the coots this weekend, bc I've never rooted for them in my life and never will. However, part of me wouldn't be too upset if they won. I'd love if they were 5-6 coming into our game and we were the reason they stayed home for the holidays. It would remind me of the Holtz era. Good times. In the end I'll be rooting for them to get their brains beaten in, but I've never been this conflicted about it.

I wouldn't be surprised to see some 5 loss teams getting bowl bids. But, I don't think that would include the coots.

I'll be rooting for whomever they play for the foreseeable future.

They now allow some teams to go to a bowl with a 5-7 record (http://espn.go.com/college-football/story/_/id/8228544/ncaa-new-bowl-game-tiebreakers-include-fcs-wins-5-7-teams). Thus if they lose to UF and beat the Citadel they may still be playing for a bowl spot when they play us. Sooooo when we beat we would be ensuring they will be singing "I'll be hoooommmmme for Christ-mas...."
