Why FSU may beat Georgia. Just being honest

This is not a good situation playing Florida St for Georgia and this is why:
What concerns me now is that Florida State is extremely upset about not making the playoffs. They will want to make a statement and send a message.
THIS WILL BE THEIR NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME.
They will be extremely, extremely, extremely motivated to beat Georgia.
Georgia, on the other hand, is devastated after not making the playoffs. Crushed. Additionally, I suspect there will be a number of Georgia players that will opt out of the game.
After having the singular focus on making the playoffs and winning three national championships in a row, I would dare say that Georgia is deflated and has ZERO motivation for this game.
Now, many may say that I am espousing a built-in excuse if Georgia loses. Not at all. I’m just being honest. If you look at the mindset of both of these teams, what I say is true.
If Georgia “wants” to be there and “wants” to win the game, they will win it. I feel very confident in saying that.
But as you all know, bowl games are all about which team WANTS to be there.
That is a very bad combination, potentially, for Georgia.

I agree.... but I imagine a bunch of FSU players will opt out too. I think Norvell will try to motivate the heck out of his players, but I don't know if it will work.
I don't see FSU having much of a chance, but that is why they play the game. Regardless what happens, it will quickly be forgotten and all the focus will be on next year.
Looking forward to our game to start off next season.

I think it may be interesting at first if FSUs D is still intact. I think y'all win by 3 TDs assuming you don't have a mass exodus. Kirby isn't going to let that team come in flat...

When it comes to football knowledge, I have no equal

I don’t say that to be arrogant, either. Just reality.
So many people when they look at games only look at surface stuff. They don’t dig deeper. That is why so many people cannot pick games and get frustrated.
I remove the heart and understand nuances and details that truly make the difference. Was I happy that Alabama beat Georgia? No. But, I picked Alabama to win, and I was quite confident in that pick. Again, you have to remove the heart.
Football games are moments in time. That can change DRAMATICALLY. You have to look within the game to really understand what is going on.
Am I saying the scenario I painted will come to fruition? We don’t know right now. But, it will be come very clear very soon.
Again, I’m right. Just reality. You have to avoid natural instincts and look at things deeper and not just what appears on the surface.
Looking forward to going to the gator bowl with my Clemson buddies to watch Kentucky and Clemson play!

Georgia will kill FSU unless all of their players get the Wuhan virus. FSU is the worst ACC champ in decades. We should have beat them were it not for our inept kicker. It pains me to say this but Georgia got screwed. They have dominated teams for three years and finally barely lose by three points to ‘bama. Georgia was treated the same way they would treat Clemson had they only lost one game. I think Georgia would crush Michigan and Washington but it is what it is.

Adversity reveals a lot about the character of and team and the integrity of a program. Do these talented players give a shyatt about Georgia? Or do they at least care enough to stand up when they don’t have a shot at all the marbles? Seems like your guys ought to be mad about losing to Bama and itching to show the world they are still #1.

Both coaches will have the same problem.
Dec 3, 2023, 7:52 PM
|
|
Each team is in the Orange Bowl after a huge disappointment. Both fully expected to be in the CPF 24 hours earlier.
Which players will decide they don't want to play? How many players from each team (primarily young guys who didn't play much this year) will enter the portal? Those that do decide to play - how motivated will they be? Will they just "go through the motions" or will they really be motivated and focused with a huge desire to win the game?
For years, people have analyzed bowl games by "Who is just happy to be here and who really wants to win?"
I have no idea how it will all work out. But, both coaches have their hardest job of the year - motivating their players to have the unquenchable desire to win.
