But always seems like Clemson (in any sport) never gets the benefit of a tiebreaker situation.
Nobody besides Clemson in the ACC has been able to crack the code on beating Duke. Wake needed that win in Durham desperately other night & got took behind the woodshed. UNC desperately needs that win Sat in Chapel Hill, but they're already been thumped once. Just don't see it happening.
Same w/ Louisville vs Stanford, although I'll give the Cardinal a better chance & pulling an upset than I do the Heels beating Blue Devils. Just hope our guys take care of business this week to avoid bad netric losses & have plenty of good basketball in the tank for an ACCT/deep NCAAT run

Winning the regular season isn’t an ACC championship like winning the ACC Tournament is, but it would still be nice to win the regular season to be the #1 seed. It can still be a nice accomplishment even if it doesn’t mean as much as some of our other season goals do.
You and NOVA Tiger’s desperate attempts to “prove me wrong” are clouding your judgment. Get help.

My point then, and my point now, is that we have bigger goals in front of us - goals which mean more than winning the conference regular season. These include:
-Winning the ACC Tournament
-Getting as high a seed as possible for the NCAA Tournament
-Advancing and making a deep run in the NCAA Tournament
These goals being more important do not mean that it still wouldn't be nice to be regular season ACC champs.
Again, your desperate attempt to catch me in some "gotcha" moment is weird, especially since you did nothing of the sort.

Clearly, you were reaching for something there and got called on it. Or you were being droll at the MBB program's expense. But that's less likely.
Either way, since we now all agree that "regular season champs" is not a thing, it might have been better to kick things off with "#1 seed in the ACCT."
Because everyone--even we football fans who eschew non-accomplishments like "regular season champs"--can agree the number one seeding is worth a thumbs up, assuming the kids use it to vault themselves into an ACC title.

ACC Regular Season Champ, #1 ACCT seed, and ACCT

Champ(which is official champ and gets NCAA auto bid) are 3 different things. All we need to get ACC Reg Champ is a win over VT and for UNC to beat Duke. This is a shared title - would probably be 3 teams getting a trophy as I expect UL wins out at home. #1 seed will be very hard to get as we need UL to drop a home game in addition to Clemson winning and Duke losing this weekend. Of course winning the ACCT would be awesome since we never have. Beating Duke on a neutral court in the championship will be very difficult if we make it to that game which is no guarantee as we all know.

It makes perfect sense. He has declared that we would lose 1-2 remaining and why that was perfectly okay (we haven’t lost since he made the prediction). Now says we will win out for the ACC regular season chmapionship. Hope that helps. In the second post I was correcting the use of “definitely” versus his use of “probably”. The statements from JK directly contradict each other. Just like his statements about the ACC regular season championship.

I communicated them perfectly. The thread originally is about another topic of which he has conflicting comments that he refuses to reconcile. This was a further example. You opined that he changed his mind. That doesn’t negate my example nor has he admitted to have changed his mind (because that would acknowledge be wrong initially). Don't jinx it judge but man I would love to see that. Btw judge where do you rank coach Brownell all time? He beat unc twice I believe on their home court. His teams have won 20 plus games 3 years in a row. We went to great 8 last year which is a first. I may be missing other accomplishments but I got to say he should be in the discussion for top 5 all time. What's your thoughts on this?
