I thought today was time to look for commitment of R. Jones, also. Maybe we are to be kept in suspense & hope another good HS football prospect commits to Clemson.

I know Ricardo Jones is committing today @ 5:30 ET, but I have not heard about Mike Matthews other than he said he planned to commit on or around June 26th - That was a month or so ago.

We'll get Jones today. Matthews hasn't set a date, but I seriously doubt we get him. We would make room for him, but there's a reason we went hard on Wesco and Moore....can't wait around forever hoping and end up missing out on everyone.

Yes. It’s sucks that matthews will more likely go to
Tennessee but it’s his decision to make. Looks like they went all out for him this weekend

Always thought we'd take 3 WRs in 2024 anyway (seems normal based on our previous 15 years), & particularly if we got a 5 star like Matthews. Also, while we have several receivers with potential, none have been our go to WR. E.g., Antonio Williams showed great potential, & was was our #1 WR last year as a freshman--However, his numbers statistically are nowhere near what our #1 WRs have normally accomplished over the same 15 year time frame. Other have been good contributors & shown some potential as well, but our stable of WRs seem pale in comparison to our previous 15 year stable. We need a boost at WR, and while I'm enthused with Wesco & Moore, I think we need another top notch 4 or 5 star WR in 2024! Just MHO. Trust our coaches' decisions on roster make-up of recruits--however it may turn out!
