Could Coach Brownell be a candidate at South Florida?

not a lot of great jobs out now but would he consider maybe finding a fresh start maybe one level down from Clemson at South Florida?
The American Conference is not a power League but still a very high level conference that sends multi teams to NCAAT most years. If he could get around a $2 million a year contract which is a bit of a pay cut but could enjoy the nice weather in Florida and compete for championships and not have the pressure at Clemson? this link from a little over a week mentions him at the end. The only negative they said would be "would not win the press conference?"

yeah, at the moment. but if he gets another extension but the buyout goes down like the last extension what message is that sending?
i think it only a matter of time if it is next year or two years.

not only does he not have to deliver Coaching results, but he's also not going anywhere.
Neff told you that "NCAA invite" didn't matter this year. Why would you infer it to next year? or the next? We have 3 invites in the last 13 years, which is less than all but three other ACC programs. Results no longer matter in Bradsketball.
The Clemson Athletic Dept needs money. That's all anything is about anymore save Dabo delivering CFP visits intermittently, and a couple pf Women's programs somewhat satisfying the ultra feminists.

I'll say one thing. Assuming PJ returns, If Brownell doesn't deliver in spades next year (sweet 16) he should be gone. No excuses. I don't care how many injuries we may have. Anybody who would disagree is the incel.
