Needing double OT to put away a D-II school...

I know it's just an exhibition, but this doesn't give me much reason to get excited about the 2015-16 season.

Them boys at LR came out wanting it more and #4 is nasty idk why we don't have him at Clemson. They were all on fire. We showed we can turn it on when need to be and finally after a slow start of shooting we started knocking some down and getting to the basket. I seem more talent on this team than I have in years and years. Once we gel as a starting five I think we finish top 6 of the ACC I am calling it now. Go Tigers! Like Dabo says a win is a win.

Not sure what's worse...the fact that we needed two overtimes to beat LR or that we were down by 12 on the second half. You can point to the horrible 3 point shooting but I don't know how much that will improve this year.

Looks like this year will be another live by the 3 die by the 3 type year.
Anyone not named Donte Grantham was 0-16 from 3 last night...
He was 4-7.

We're going to need Holmes to shoot from the perimeter less, distribute the rock more, and penetrate the lane more. Good thing this is just a tune up. It is s little alarming that we played our primary lineup the entire game and still had to battle to stay in it. I expected to look at the box score and see that everyone got PT including the walk ons.

what was even more amazing was with the football team doing so well it seemed like the goobers on this site could not wait to have something to complain about in a meaningless exhibition. could we not wait till say at least december before crucifying another staff at clemson. who knows how this team will do. probably a work in progress getting the new guys in the flow. seems to me the mot would just support a staff that we all know will be in place for at least 2 more years. after that we will know exactly where we stand and can act appropriately.

You would think so... but like moths to a flame these people come out with every slight hint of bad news for Basketball. It is quite sad.
Also I dont care who was playing you go 4-23 from 3 and you are going to struggle to win.

Not to mention its fairly common for even big time programs to to lose to a far inferior team early in the year. That's why you'll never see the ACC schedule us against UnCheat until well into conference play.

Did anybody think that this season would be much different. It's only a exhibition game but look for this kind of play all season.

My family and I went to the game. I must admit that we look bad. We just can not score and our players got caught out of position several times. The Leonoir-Rhyne's first 9 points were 3-pointers from one of the LR guards before any one started guarding him.
