The Clemson offense could be outright dangerous this year with all the returning talent, depth and experience. I mean playoff, and natty contending dangerous. Just sayin... It's going to be exciting to watch.

This is true if our running backs can play the part and produce a good rushing attack . This will keep defenses honest and open up the passing game .

this always seems to be a thing w teams. why? You keep a guy from crunching the starting qb or any qb because without them you're in trouble. Not brain surgery. If you can't put a little effort into that maybe your future is covering kicks and punts till you figure out what to do. even guys who block often put in very halfhearted efforts to do it

yes i still go back to the 3rd quarter when we were moving the ball easily, and call a trick play pitch to mafah that winds up a turnover. we were looking good on that drive and that play call turned the game. didnt need a trick play just needed to keep moving the ball. That and the int to end the game were just brutal mistakes that you cant make.

.... then the offende will be excellent.

If the running game is even adequate to keep teams from dropping 7 and 8 into coverage every play the offense will be elite.

I expect the offense to be elite.

Comparison: FSU got their two best receivers from the portal this year. Duce Robinson from SoCal and Squirrel White from TN. They will be among the better receivers in the ACC this fall. Both would be struggling to get into the top six at Clemson.

That is not a knock on FSU. It is a statement of how outstanding the WR corp is for Clemson.
