ND All White Unis

Not sure if this is true, but the ND fans sitting in front of us said it is VERY rare that they wear white pants. They claimed that was the reason they lost- they were joking on that part. Anybody know how rare that was?

A van full of us from Lexington SC drove to South Bend in Nov of 1979. We arrived on campus that Fri, saw a beautiful place, then headed to the stadium. Met some great ND fans, they told us great places to dine. Met their RB Vegas Fargasan. Very friendly. Then a bus load of dig from CU pulled up. Met Banks McFadden. ND came out for their game in special green jerseys. Fans said that was a first. Celebrated with Jim Phillips at our motel after the victory. Great road trip. Don’t think I could do that again. Age + Marriage +Family+ plus listening to Jesus!!
