Brownell: I love this team. They're really good players, but they're better people...Really proud of the culture of the program. These guys are fantastic to be around...To be able to spend another week with them is fantastic. Last year was heartbreaking. Some of these guys, you want it so bad for them. These are memories they're going to make for the rest of their lives.

Brownell: We were confident. We didn't feel like we were on a skid. We had a confidence about us coming here and the loss to BC probably helped get the team's focus better. From there, our team has played really well. It was good to play some guys we hadn't seen, kinda like our non-conference season when we had success.

Brownell on Hall: Honestly, I was probably too hard on him today. He felt bad that he didn't play well in these two games, but he's a superstar. He's one of my all-time favorites and always will be. I felt bad he wasn't playing up to his level. But the way that game was going, that's basketball.

Brownell says defending the three-pointer was the key point of the prep for this game. He says they challenged their guys and mixed some things up on defense as well. "Our guys really competed...Chase was exhausted. Joe was exhausted...Thankfully we were able to make one or two more plays to win."
